To ensure that stakeholders can communicate with the Company in a timely and effective manner, and to enhance the supervisory function of the board of directors and Audit Committee, Yuanta FHC has worked to continually strengthen its communication channels with stakeholders, with the hope that through diversified communication channels we will be better able to receive and respond to stakeholders' feedback and issues of concern.

In addition to regularly compiling relevant results, reviewing the results of discussions with stakeholders, and submitting a report and confirmation to the board of directors annually, the status of each stakeholder communication for the year 2023 was reported to the board of directors on June 26, 2024.

Customer Complaints Hotline

Using its customer service center and the employees of its locations across Taiwan, Yuanta has undertaken periodic surveys of customer opinion to better understand customer needs and levels of satisfaction, efficiently respond to and resolve problems, and provide the best possible customer service. Yuanta has also set up a Service line, webpage email box, and other public channels to provide customer consultation and respond to needs, and has set the internal control system, customer complaint case procedure, telephone recording system management notes, and other related measures, so as to effectively track and resolve problems, provide superior service, and protect customer rights.

To protect its customers’ personal information, Yuanta has set in place the “Yuanta Financial Holdings Co., Ltd., and Subsidiaries Customer Information Protection Procedures,” and statement on the protection of customers’ privacy rights, the contents of which are publicly available on the company website. With regard to Yuanta’s consumer complaints channels, the process is as follows: When the company receives consumer complaint cases, it immediately notifies the related units to resolve the issue and respond to the complainant, as well as the company or authorities, in order to fully assure the handling and progress of the case.

Yuanta’s human resource management procedures, in addition to following labor laws and related norms and regulations to guarantee the legal rights of employees, strive to maintain good channels of communication with employees, and have a system of formal consultations with unions and labor conferences.

After receiving a complaint from an employee, Yuanta will initiate complaint handling procedures according to the content of the complaint, in accordance with internal regulations such as workplace sexual harassment, unlawful workplace assault of employees in the performance of their duties, or other labor laws, and handle the complaint in a confidential manner to protect the complainant from any retaliation or other adverse treatment.
